Mulheres Fantásticas é um quadro do Fantástico (Rede Globo)
em sua segunda temporada e traz seis episódios documentais
que contam as histórias de figuras femininas que fazem
a diferença no mundo.
Inteiramente produzido e criado por mulheres.
É a segunda vez que participo e, dessa vez,
ajudo a contar a história da incrível Marietta Baderna,
uma dançarina de balé imigrante da Itália,
que chegou no Rio de Janeiro em 1849,
quando a escravatura ainda tardaria a ser abolida.

The second season of Mulheres Fantásticas (Fantastic Women),
a TV series entirely made by women for Brazil's biggest TV channel, Globo.
The animation shows the story of the ballet dancer
Marietta BADERNA, who immigrated from Italy to Brazil in 1949
to live in Rio de Janeiro when slavery was still late to be abolished.
In her performances, she incorporated Afro-Brazilian dances,
which shocked society but also created frisson.
Her surname was synonymous with beauty,
but after she got fans of all social classes, her name joined
the Brazilian Portuguese vocabulary as a synonym for confusion.
